Q: I have been looking around with little result. My swimming pool is very green. The time was right to buy a foreclosure home and now is time to face the disaster. Do you have any anecdotes on swimming pool acid washing? I would like to wrap this one up.

Let me start with this. The results of an acid wash can be certainly dramatic. A swimming pool that has been unattended for a long time is a scary picture. I saw a lady crying once, full of joy after seeing her backyard have a spectacular turn-around. The pool was looking blue and the sparkle in the water was enough to make her laugh and cry at the same time.
