Do You Think Swimming Pool Acid Wash is the Way to Go?
Question?
Q: Weeee, thanks for any help. I am looking into buying a foreclosure home but the swimming pool looks horrible. The house has been closed for five months and there's no way to tell how long it has been without proper care. Do you think acid wash is the way to go? This pool has a Diamond Brite surface covering the pool floor and walls. Searching for a little knowledge.
See ya folks.

Answer!
A:
Top of the morning to you. After 5 months without swimming pool service, getting an acid wash is certainly the way to go. You should also expect no miracles. There will be scars, such as algae stains, and aggregate thinning. Resurfacing the swimming pool is less costly than fixing structural problems. In general, the pool will look a hundred times better.
Now, time for breakfast.
Adios to you and best wishes.
