How to Choose Between Acid Wash or Chemical Treatment?
Question?
Q: A quick one for you. The home that we just bought has an abandoned courtyard swimming pool. Trying to figure out what to do is hard. We have been getting conflicting opinions from friends and local companies. When is it better to acid wash or do a chemical treatment? Now go for some fun.
You are the best.

A:
Welcome back. A chemical treatment is recommended when the algae is evenly spread on the swimming pool surface. What we mean is, there are no areas on the surface more intensely covered by algae than others are. If you see dark spots of algae, it means that the aggregate is probably stained. In this case is usually better to acid wash to obtain the best result. Just a bit of help.
Keep on working hard.
