How to Add Chlorine Stabilizer to the Swimming Pool?
Question?
Q: Just a quick thought for you. I had my pool water tested. The results were not good at all. In fact, the Chlorine Stabilizer was down to nothing. How should I add Chlorine Stabilizer to my swimming pool? Neato for you to help.
Hope you can help with this.

A:
Thanks for the information. In this situation, this is my typical approach. Add 40 ppm of Chlorine Stabilizer to the swimming pool, add 1 pound of Chlorine Stabilizer for every 2,500 gallons of pool water, for 30 ppm add 1 pound per 4,000 gallons.
Add the appropriate amount of Chlorine Stabilizer granules slowly through the skimmer while the pump is running. Let the pump and filter to run at least 24 hours. Do not do a filter backwash for at least 48 hours after application. Is this good for you?
