Is it Required to Have a Swimming Pool Chlorinator?
Question?
Q: You are too kind to help. My swimming pool Is very old. A friend asked me why it did not have a chlorinator or chlorine dispenser. That sounded to me like Chinese. After doing some reading I can understand what it was. Is it necessary to have one installed in the pool? You should be able to follow this.
Much, much appreciated.

A:
Well said. Many pool companies required that you have a chlorinator installed in the swimming pool equipment to service your pool. If you are planning to install one yourself, it has to be after the pump and filter. Take into account the size of the pipes. Generally, it is two inches or one and a half. In addition, you can buy the floating chlorinator. The cost is around five to ten dollars and it does the same function.
