Why is my Swimming Pool Water Cloudy?
Question?
Q: Hola. I have been searching all over for an answer to my pool problem, but I have not had any luck. After two years of owning a swimming pool, and enjoying the fun in the sun that comes with it, now, for the first time; the water has turned cloudy. Can you give me any ideas on how to solve this situation? That is a wrap up.
Your too kind for helping me on this issue.

Hi, nice to hear from. Pool water cloudiness is usually caused by poor filtration or severe chemical imbalance. Make sure you are running your filter system enough hours each day. Remember always: In the summer let it run for no less than 8 hours a day!
On the chemical part, check to see if you have sanitizer in the water, if you do not, you have to shock the pool. This means adding more sanitizer than usual. The quantity depends on the intensity of the cloudiness, water color, etc. On the other hand, it could also be an effect of having very low or very high alkalinity. We recommend first doing a full pool water test. Come back again soon.
Goodbye, be your best today.
