Q: Happy day. I have moved to this area recently, since I found a bargain on a home with a swimming pool. I have three kids together and we kindda want to enjoy the pool all year around. What do you think about solar heater for pools? Ok, there you go.

A: Hi. One great thing about solar heated pools is big savings in energy cost! When the weather is rainy and the sky is cloudy or nighttime temperatures are lower than 60, then the solar heaters need a little help.

Sometimes a pool blanket is enough; most times, you need and electrical heater to keep your pool water warm through the cold snaps. If you can afford the combo unit, go with it. We hope our answer pleased you.
