Lots of people question this. First of all, make sure the pump basket is empty from debris, then take out the basket and check inside for debris in the impeller. That is one of the most common problems that happen when there is a storm whipping all kinds of things around. Take out the filter cartridge and clean it thoroughly, It could be something as simple as that.
