Can You Help on Swimming Pool Heater Temperature Reading Inaccuracy?
Question?
Q: Do you have a little bit of time to help. My swimming pool heater temperature reading is completely off. It says 10 degrees higher at the heater than it actually is at the water. To obtain a temperature in the water of 86 degrees, the heater must be set at 96 degrees. Any ideas? Can you add this to your to do list.
Please help, a bit of advise.

A:
Good to have you, welcome. Going by what you say, it looks that it is the temperature sensor. Some times the temperature sensor can be recalibrated; sometimes, it needs to be replaced. The good news is that this is a low cost repair. So go ahead, call your local heater service company, and rid yourself of the worries.
I am ready to swim now.
Take charge, protect your self.
