How Can You Extend the Life of an Old Swimming Pool Filter?
Question?
Q: Can I hit you up with a question. My swimming pool has a two-year-old filter cartridge installed. It works fairly well, but the pressure keeps going up and I have to clean it every single week. Do you have any tricks or advice on how to extend its life a bit longer? Complete, that will be my situation.
Reasoning its great.

Answer!
A:
Ok, let us get off to the races. Get a garbage can big enough to cover the swimming pool filter cartridge with water completely. Go to your local pool supplier or online store and buy water treatment enzymes. Let the cartridge sit in this solution for at least two days and then backwash the filter with plenty of water pressure. Wait until the cartridge dries totally and hit it against the pavement to lose the accumulated-over-time sand. This treatment can give your filter a couple of years more of life.
Ponder that.
Lofty goals are the way to go.
