Hello, thanks for your visit. A nice one to think about. First, brush the pool completely. It could just be algae. If it does not come off, it might be magnesium, which occurs naturally over time. A bottle of metal sequester solution could do the job in this case. The proper diagnostic requires our physical pool inspection and some information about how the pool has been maintained in the past.
