Ideas to Extend the Life of Your Swimming Pool System Seals and O-Rings?
Question?
Q: Must get this one figured out. The pump o-ring in my swimming pool went bad for the third time this year. In this summer season, my pool turned green various times. I am not consistent with my pool care and algae blooms are frequent. Does it have to do with the algae treatment? I need a bit of an education.
Coo coo cachoo.

Answer!
A:
Fantastic day to you. When you do an algae treatment, all the rubber and plastic in contact with water typically gets damaged. This is do to the high levels of chlorine. The o-rings are no different. Be prepared to spend a little more money if you let your pool turn green again.
That should work for now.
Have fun, have good health.
