Ask Your Pool Question?

What Should I do when the Swimming Pool is Overflowing?

Question?

Q: Neato, a good answer source. There has been a large amount of rain falling in my area. This situation has caused my swimming pool to overflow considerably. The lawn water is mixing with the pool. Do you have any tips or ideas on what to do in this case? Sure hope to get some detail.

I will surely come back with more questions.

Stephan Brogdon (Naples Florida)

Answer!

A: Cool a place for help. That is a very touchy problem. There are chemical compounds in the soil, as phosphates and nitrates that can make it almost impossible to maintain your pool. Every situation is different, in some cases the swimming pool has to be drained and refilled completely, in others, adding extra chlorine and a Starver product (which sequesters phosphates and nitrates out of the water) can take care of the problem. Approach it that way.

Moreover, do not forget to tell your friends about us.
