When Do Have To Change My Swimming Pool Filter?
Question?
Q: Hi, a quick note. This is probably an easy one, but I do not know the answer. My house is located in a full Florida sun lot, and I know the Florida summer weather can be brutal. I also have an open pool, surrounded by lots of trees that can be pretty messy. I know my filter is getting a lot of work, and my question is: When do I know is time to change my filter? Does it make sense?
Thanks. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A:
Greetings to you. Some filters last more than others do. The standard time to replace it is approximately two years. There are two situations in which you must change your pool filter cartridge. That way, you avoid more complicated problems; which can cost you a lot of money. Let me give you an example, such as if your swimming pool turns green.
|
| The cartridge is too heavy, and your water pressure is higher than 25 pounds after back washing. |
|
| If you have a reoccurring algae problem that wont go away, this usually means that the filtering matter has diminished. |
Here are our two common situations as examples, which may require buying and installing a new pool filter cartridge.
The pool filter is a very important part of your system. Keep an eye on it, and it will work for you and make your pool look beautiful. That is what we have for you.
You take the best of care.
