How Long Does it Take to Heat a Swimming Pool?
Question?
Q: Nice to have found your site. The temperatures are starting to come down a bit at night. The pool of course is not reaching the 90 degrees, which is just the way we like it. I have been using my electric heater again but the temperature is never right in the mornings. How long does it take to heat the pool? Alrighty, an easy one maybe.
Au revoir.

A:
You summarized that well. By the formula that most builders use, the pool water circulates through the filter in 6 hours. That is also the case in the majority of the commercial pools. If you like to swim early in the mornings, then you should plan your swimming pool system running time for an early schedule. For example, start the pump at 4 am, instead of 8 am.
Just think of it all as playtime.
My mind just loves this stuff. Bye now.
