Ask Your Pool Question?

If the Swimming Pool is Overflowing, Should I Take Some Water Out?

Question?

Q: Hello man expert. We need your help. My swimming pool is over flowing. Should I take water out, and how much? Ok folks, this is the specific circumstance.

If understandable, very kind to help. Great site.

Leta Crosley (Homosassa Florida)

Answer!

A: Nice to hear from you, we can see your situation. Now we start . If the swimming pool is overflowing, it is wise to drain some of the water. Most people have plants on their pool deck and there are contaminants in the soil such as iron, magnesium and fertilizers like phosphates and nitrates. This way you avoid having a bad case of algae or stains on the pool aggregate. Take out a couple of inches and repeat if necessary. Ok, that is the one. Grade A.
