I Am Going to a Pool Party This Weekend, Should I Worry About Bacteria?
Question?
Q: Greetings to you. I have a pool party this weekend! Many friends are coming from Sanibel and Captiva. I am much exited about it. What worries me is that such large amounts of people are going to be swimming in the pool. Should I worry about bacteria? Can not think of anything else.
Too cool for your help, thanks a million.

A:
Oh, thanks for your time. There is nothing like a pool party when you have the right people (your friends).
You should ask the host of the party about the pool water balance. Has the pool been serviced recently? Is there sufficient chlorine in the pool for a large bathing load?
You could also suggest to the host to add chlorine tablets and to run the pool system while the pool party is going on. In general, there should be no problems. Good thought, hope we helped.
Kind regards, shine on.
