Q: Here is my question of the day. My swimming pool has a pool cover that helps to maintain warm water temperatures very efficiently. Some friends gave me a pool cover roller and I have no idea where to begin. Can you give me some help on how to install the pool cover on the roller? It is nice to have a helper.

A: Hello and welcome. It is actually very easy. You can buy a universal installation kit at any swimming pool supplier store. The cost is around $35 dollars. This kit consists of a combination of eight plastic clips, and eight nylon straps. The clips go at the end of the pool cover in a very easy flip phone type of way. The straps are attached to the roller using Velcro. That is knowledge 101.
