How to Measure Swimming Pool Volume of Water?
Question?
Q: Perhaps is the full moon, as I have an issue. Been trying to improve myself reading a bit about swimming pool chemistry. For almost every step, there is a need to know the pool volume. Can you provide an easy way to calculate the swimming pool water volume? I need a 100 percent guaranteed solution.
Once again, take care.

A:
Time for a fresh approach. For an oval shape pool there is an approximation that perhaps will make thing simpler, and it goes like this: Length x Width x Average Depth x 5.9 = Total Gallons. For a rectangular shape swimming pool the formula gives a more accurate result if you use: Length x Width x Average Depth x 7.5 = Total Gallons. Always do your best.
