Looking for Information on Swimming Pool Safety, Can You Help?
Question?
Q: Oh, I am glad to find this. When I moved down to the South West Florida area for a change in lifestyle, I did not consider all possibilities. There are many details and information about services and more, which I forgot to research.
Right now, I have to use a public swimming pool for my daily exercise. Is it safe to go swimming in a public pool? A great resource you provide.
Great page, please continue.

A:
Very good to hear from you. It is always a good thing to be informed about safety. We are happy to tell you that the rules of the health department in the state of Florida are strict on the safety subject.
All commercial swimming pools have to test the chemicals in the water on a daily basis, and keep records of it. The health department has inspectors on the area constantly checking for appropriate sanitation, water clarity, flow, and even filter pressure.
In case of failure, the swimming pool inspector closes the facilities. The norm is to have a Pool Service Professional maintain the water and filtration systems, at least three times a week. That is probably the best way to wrap it up.
Much appreciated, talk to you later.
