How to Prevent More Damage if Too Much Acid has been Added to a Liner Swimming Pool?
Question?
Q: Hello man sir. This should get you going. My liner pool has had 20 liters of acid added by mistake over one month, now the right chlorine is added but the water is a little cloudy. Has the pool liner been damaged in anyway? Its now cloudy blue, but the pump is circulating well. Should I be worried about the liner? In closing, there is our pending issue.
Ok folks, good luck. Nice help.

Hi friend, yes...a stimulating question. No to the point of it. The Acid probably caused some damage. It is hard to tell to what extend. Al you can do now is increase the Calcium and Alkalinity levels. Start with the Alkalinity by adding Sodium Bicarbonate in small increments of five pounds, and retest until you get a reading of 140 parts per million. Balance the pH, and add calcium the same way until you get 400 parts per million. Well now, an approach to consider. Complete it.
Moving on, the benefits are spreading help around. That is all folks.
