My Swimming Pool has Yellow Stuff, What do I do?
Question?
Q: I have been here before. My swimming pool has yellow stuff that will not go away. It keeps coming back every couple of days, and it is becoming impossible to handle for me. What do I do? I lack experience, which is part of my problem.

Hey Hey! There are a great many products on the market to treat yellow mustard algae. This kind is the most difficult to kill and it has a high recurrence rate. You could also super chlorinate the swimming pool with 10 or more gallons of chlorine and brush carefully every little corner, starting at the steps. Drop your pH low. That means add half to one gallon of acid, depending on pool size. Mustard algae hates a low pH! Please try your best.
